Creative Door Services Ltd. is one of North America’s leading distributors and installers of residential, commercial and industrial overhead doors, with over 450 employees and subcontractors, working out of eight branch locations throughout Western Canada.
In July 2005, Roynat Capital and StoneBridge acquired Creative Door from Dan Nixon, who was looking to retire and exit his business. StoneBridge worked extensively with the company on business development, financial and strategic plans and management recruitment.
In 2011, Overhead Door Corporation, the company that created the original overhead garage door in 1921, acquired Creative Door. Overhead Door employs more than 3,500 people, operates 22 manufacturing facilities, has 78 regional sales, service, and installation centers, and has more than 5,000 distributors and dealers in the U.S. and Canada. Overhead Door Corporation is a subsidiary of Sanwa Holdings Corporation, based in Tokyo, Japan.
Michael Lang served as the corporation’s Director, and Gary Lang was the lead from the StoneBridge group, working with management.
