Russ Andrew
Before joining Stonebridge in 2017, Russ was the Area Vice President of Scotiabank’s Ontario Region, where he was responsible for the strategic management of a $6.2 billion portfolio across 14 Commercial Banking offices in Ontario.
Before his Scotiabank VP appointment, Russ held several positions, including Managing Director and Head, Roynat Capital North American Private Equity Coverage (NAPEC), where he led a team of 14 professionals supporting corporate lending, structured products, and syndication for this specialized lending offering.
Russ has extensive business experience in the Toronto, Calgary and US markets in banking, manufacturing, distribution, and entrepreneurial ventures. He has a strong operational and results-focused approach to business growth and risk management strategies and initiatives. He is an enthusiastic and collaborative leader who is known for getting the most out of his teams and for defusing conflict or tension.
Russ holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan.
